Below is a list of the various series of applications that we offer for the Road Racing market. KONI Special/Sport The KONI Special is optimized for good road manners and improved handling. It is primarily a street unit but can be adjusted up to better control the transitions as needed in auto cross. When available a Sport will generally be the better choice but, the special will always show improvement over an original equipment damper. The KONI Sport is designed with high performance in mind. It will give a dramatic improvement in road manners over an original equipment shock. The Sport shock is generally adjustable externally and allows the user to quickly increase the damping forces of the shock for the occasional auto cross. The Sport has a slightly firmer ride quality at minimum adjustment than the Special. In most cases either a special or sport can be re-valved and have conversions to double adjustments done. RACE inserts and Shocks The 8611 and 8610 shocks are universal double and single (respectively) adjustable dampers made for high spring rate strut applications. These are available in a variety of lengths with special “high force” options also available for track only applications. KONI also has shocks specially built for common racing applications. These shocks are shortened and valved more aggressively based off of years of working with racers to give an affordable off-the-shelf solution to the budget racer. 30 Series The 30 Series Road Course shock features a steel body, four-position rebound adjustable, and a high-pressure mono-tube design. The rebound forces can be adjusted 100%, while the compression forces are pre-set. This design offers a wide rage of valving options to fit a variety of applications at an economical price. The 30 series dampers are available with a variety of valvings to meet your specific damping requirements and can be utilized with a coil-over kit if necessary. Attachments are ½" ID bearing on both ends. The 30 Series can be run inverted to reduce unsprung weight. Custom Aluminum threaded bodied versions called 30 SP8 dampers are also available. 3012 Series The 3012 series features a threaded aluminum-bodied, external double-adjustable and a high pressure mono-tube design, ensuring optimum performance. Our patented mono-tube design allows for independent adjustments to the rebound and compression forces. All damping adjustments are made at the piston, eliminating the additional weight and packaging complications of an external reservoir. The 3012 series offers one of the broadest adjustment ranges in the industry, eliminating the need of constant revalving procedures from track to track. The 3011 series is also available that offers the same damping technology as the 3012 series but in a steel body. 8212 Series The 8212 series is an aluminum-bodied externally-double adjustable coil over. It has a twin tube hydralic construction that is fully rebuildable and the valving can be matched to a wide rage of applications. Adjustment of the rebound and compression damping is provided by two controls and may be adjusted independently of one another, without removing it from the car. The 8211 series offers the same adjustments as the 8212 series but in a steel body to allow for custom attachments. The 8216 is also available which is a single adjustable for rebound only version in an aluminum body. 28-Series The 28-Series are a line mono-tube dampers specifically designed for competion purposes, featuring externally adjustable compression and rebound. The precision adjustment mechanism allows for maximum control possible over the damping forces generated. In modern racing applications damper sensativity, repeatability, and ease of use are a must. To achieve this, the 28 series uses a superior and advanced adjustment mechanism operated by closing or opening valve-loaded ports. By having all damping forces generated at the piston, the control over the dampening forces is very precise. The 2812 MK II is used on formula car and prototype sports racer suspensions. The 2812 LB features a modular design that better accommodates the longer lengths and various attachment styles required for touring car specifications. The 2817 is an inverted mono-tube strut that has been designed to handle the special loadings for a strut style suspension. 2850 Series The 2850 Series kit is a racing suspension kit specifically tailored to your vehicle. KONI has worked with several racers on each application and track tested the product personally. The kit is a total vehicle solution consisting of 28 Series shock and/or struts. 2822 MKII Series The 2822 Series are mono-tube 4-way adjustable dampers specifically designed for competion purposes, featuring externally adjustable high and low speed compression and rebound adjustments. The precision adjustment mechanism allows for maximum control possible over the damping forces generated. To achieve this, the 2822 series uses a superior and advanced adjustment mechanism operated by closing or opening valve-loaded ports just like our 2812 with the addition of secondary adjustments on the body. Production vehicles are built using rubber bushings in control arms, strut arms, leaf springs, body mounts, motor mounts, transmission mounts, sway bars and shocks. Additionally, rubber components can be found being used on coil spring pads, leaf spring pads and suspension bump stops. Not only are rubber components on the soft side to accommodate the typical car and truck buyer, they to deteriorate rapidly. This contributes to premature component failure, a "spongy" ride and less than ideal performance handling. Urethane can correct these conditions, while improving drivability.

Blow Valves As the name suggests, a Blow Off, or Dump Valve, is a mechanical valve that dumps boost pressure that is trapped between the throttle flap and Compressor wheel of the turbocharger. This pressure is created when the throttle is shut off momentarily between gear changes and deceleration. Designed and developed in the early eighties by German Engineers to reduce lag on early Turbocharged rally cars, this simple but very effective method has evolved into much more than just a simple plastic disposable Diaphragm Valve. As vehicle technology has evolved so has Dump Valve technology. They are widely known in Europe as Dump Valves, but in America they are also known as Blow Off or Diverter Valves. The UK is widely regarded as market leaders in Dump Valve innovation, with such developments as Piston Valves, and Fabric reinforced Diaphragms. Years of research have brought about twin piston valves that are designed to prevent engines with Mass Air Flow meters from stalling when stored boost pressure is released. SamcoSport have designed and manufactured a range of twin piston valves to prevent this from happening. The Plastic type Diaphragm Dump Valves which are fitted to many European performance automobiles, are prone to Diaphragm failure with only relatively low mileage. SamcoSport have now introduced it's new range of Piston type and Viton Fabric Reinforced Diaphragm Valves, which have under gone stringent quality testing on our in house computer controlled Dump Valve Test Rig. These valves are designed in the U.K. and manufactured on state of the art CNC machines. We only use Premium quality Aerospace grade 6061 T6 Aluminium that ensures optimum performance from every valve. The unique twin Samco U-Tec Seals that are fitted inside every Piston valve are manufactured from Oil and Heat resistant Viton. The Samco U-Tec Seal design gives a flexible Seal to Piston contact area, so this means a perfect seal even in extreme operating conditions. We do NOT use commercial O-Rings on any of our linear piston sealing applications. O-Rings do not provide a flexible sealing solution for this high performance application. All internal springs and external fixings are manufactured from 316 Stainless Steel to prevent corrosion. Fitting Kits are available for all valves in the SamcoSport range. The Walbro high output in-tank electric fuel pumps are available in flow ratings of 255 liters of fuel per hour. These particular pumps flow significantly more fuel at higher pressure. For example, at 80 PSI the standard 255 lph pump will flow around 132 liters (35 gallons) per hour. At that same 80 PSI the equivalent HP (high pressure) fuel pump will flow over 210 liters (50 gallons) per hour. Walbro in-tank electric fuel pumps utilize a proven gerotor design. The outside dimensions, however, are compact enough to fit existing hanger assemblies, without modification. Coverage includes most popular Acura and Honda, Ford, Chrysler and many other Import applications. These are complete fuel pump kits and include all drop parts, accessories and installation instructions. Also included is an inlet filter that meets or exceeds original equipment specifications and provides improved filtration and durability.

Pre-Bent Tube Elbows Woolf Aircraft specializes in tight radius, thin wall tube bending. Stainless and aluminum pre-bent elbows are stocked in 45, 90, 120 and 180 degree bends for immediate delivery. With 32 power tube benders available for up to 8" diameters, rush deliveries can be accommodated. Fabricated Tubing, We fabricate tube assemblies which are both simple and complex from 1/8" to 7" diameters. We bend and further fabricate tubing in all metals including 304, 316 or 321 stainless, mild steel, 5052 or 6061 aluminum, titanium and inconel from one piece through 40,000 - piece lot size. Our processes include tube bending, forming, flaring, beading, expanding, swedging, beading, brazing, and welding.
