We start with a factory AMG air distribution pipe. This is the Y-Pipe just after the intercooler and before the intake manifolds on the AMG32 motor. From AMG they are a cast Magnesium Alloy piece with casting burs covering the inside and outside. We have the inside professionally Ported and Polished and then Teflon Coated a Dart Cylinder Heads with their Teflon Intake Manifold Coating. This creates a thermal barrier and also makes the airflow thru the pipe super slick.  These pipes are done up to go along with our Aluminum Intake manifolds but can still be used with the factory intake manifolds as well.

The factory AIT sensor will move right over to this new pipe.

Teflon Coating is tinted with a gunmetal color, they are a little darker then they appear in the images.

The factory Y-pipe flows 299cfm @ 20 in of H2O.
Our NeedsWings version flows 332cfm @ 20 in of H2O.
